Thank you for your interest in my home studio and approach to teaching. I believe in a therapeutic, orthopedic, anatomy-based approach to movement in the body. My love for yoga started in 2001 and following my path to teaching, became a certified 200RYT in 2005 from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA through the amazing teachings of Ganga White and Tracey Rich. Not long after receiving my yoga certification I was introduced to the Pilates method. I realized the synergetic relationship Yoga and Pilates could offer to truly connect the body to mindful movement. I then pursued my Pilates training and received my Reformer I, II, III certification through Balanced Body University. After becoming a mother in 2010, I received my children's yoga certification in San Francisco, CA so I could give my daughters and other children the gift of yoga in their lives. I'm always continuing my education and am most recently working on my 500RYT through Yoga Medicine. I am continuing this journey expanding my depth of knowledge and working closely with healthcare practitioners to provide yoga and Pilates as medicine for both the body and mind.
